Today, we hosted two incredibly fun themed parties. Both party girls chose the cupcake theme, from our “Have Your Cake … and Eat it Too!” package … but we had a great time making each party unique.
Katelyn, a brand new eight-year old, and her friends, are quite possibly one of the most creative groups we have ever seen! We gave them a couple “cupcake challenges” and just they kept asking for more: a rainbow, a puppy, underwater, sprinkle frenzy, a flower. These were VERY busy kids; we even had to pull a few away from the table to take a group picture. Plus, we ended the party by having the girls make a tissue paper flower for their valentines!
And for our second cupcake-themed party of the day, we incorporated the birthday girl’s recent obsession: the movie “Frozen.” A snowball here and there, a few ice-covered branches, and a fun Frozen-inspired craft (Elsa’s Frozen Powers Bracelet) made our birthday girl, Avari, feel like she was in a winter wonderland.
Avari and her friends also had a great time decorating their baked goods. Although we think there might have been some candy-sampling going on, because they were VERY good at the wacky group picture! That’s six-year olds for you!
