Growing up, the Cake Shop Bakery’s founder, head pastry chef and baker Linda Richards, could be found in the kitchen alongside her grandmother always baking. She bounced around listening and learning. She was drawn to baking, and soaked up any lesson, tip or recipe given.
Her grandmother would add a pinch of this and a smidge of that, and in no time she’d have a fresh batch of Monkey Pies whipped up and ready for consumption. To this day, the Cake Shop Bakery Monkey Pies are one of Linda’s all time favorite treats to bake… and eat!
